MAMAZOO is a lifestyle brand encapsulating a tropical sensibility with reverence for nature and a love of the wild. Styled from a quintessentially Brazilian point of view, we believe your swimsuit should frame your curves with classic, simple cuts and feminine shapes that leave minimal tan lines after a day in the sun.
All of our suits are sewn by talented seamstresses in Florianópolis Santa Catarina in the south of Brazil where our family is from. Our flagship store is located in Caraíva Bahia Brazil where we currently reside.
OUR SUITS IN FULL TRANSPARENCY
All our solid color Suits, black lining and self, are made with a thread called AMNI SOUL ECO (watch in english
), biodegradable once on the landfill which will decompose into biomass in 28 month instead of 11 years.
Our printed suits are made with a yarn made out of recycled PET bottles and the lining is already biodegradable. Our company has not yet reached the possibility to reach the manufacturers high minimum of printed fabric on biodegradable fabric, but we are on our way.
Our patterns are all printed with water based ink and the water used in the printing process of the company who prints our fabric was able to invest in new process of effluent treatment and reuse 100% of the water.
Today, 95% of all waste generated by that company goes for recycling.
