To celebrate World Environment Day, Mamazoo is pleased to announce that it has joined the team of companies with the @seloeureciclo . This event is part of a commitment to recycling in Brazil that already has +3,700 brands, +190,000 consumers and +180,000 tons compensated.

According to the National Solid Waste Policy (PNRS), every consumer goods company must prove that it correctly disposes of at least 22% of all its post-consumer packaging. One solution found to comply with this law was environmental compensation, which guarantees the recycling of an amount of material equivalent to that generated by the company. This means that it may not be exactly our packaging or parts that will be recycled after disposal, but an item identical in weight and material will be removed from nature and sent to the recycling industry. In this context, the most important thing is that the negative impact of waste is being offset and that the recycling chain is being valued. At Mamazoo, we will correctly dispose of 200% of waste instead of 22% as required by law. We will participate in this movement with full force to remove from nature almost 10x more of the volume of waste that we generate. We believe that together we are stronger and we hope that more companies will participate in this!!
