MAMAZOO is part of the Slow Fashion movement. Do you know what that means?
This trend is linked to responsible consumption habits, production of items with greater quality and durability, appreciation of local producers and concern for the social and environmental impact of the entire production chain.
Here at MAMAZOO, we work with two types of fabrics: our plain pieces are biodegradable and our printed pieces are made from used and recycled PET bottles; the prints are also printed using water and are free of heavy metals; the linings are made from biodegradable fabrics; 100% of the water used in the dyeing process is reused; 95% of our manufacturing waste is recycled; the packaging is made from recyclable materials; our production partners are small local companies in Floripa-SC; and our physical store is in the small village of Caraíva, in Bahia, helping to stimulate the local economy.
