Production with raw materials with lower environmental impact

What are the footprints we are leaving in nature? 👣🌳

This week, Environment Week is celebrated all over the world. The objective is to draw attention to environmental problems and the preservation of natural resources. We are the generation that has a duty to make peace with nature and exercise this awareness in all our actions. Everything we do and the way we consume has to be in harmony with the environment we live in, with our home!

And since we are in the fashion industry, one of the industries with the greatest environmental impact, it is our duty to participate in systemic change to make it more sustainable and ethical. In this context, we are part of #slowfashion , a concept opposed to fast fashion and part of the “slow movement”, a movement that believes in manufacturing products respecting people and the environment.

🌱Our plain colored products are made with Amni Soul Eco, the world's first biodegradable fabric. It does not break down with water or time, but once discarded in landfills it turns into biomass in 28 months instead of 11 years like other traditional materials.

♻️The printed pieces are made from biodegradable lining and fabric from recycled PET bottles. PET is made from a material that can take up to 800 years to decompose and, along with plastic in general, is the biggest pollutant in the oceans. All with Mamazoo helping to minimize pollution in the place we love most, the SEA! In addition to the environmental impact, the use of recycled PET brings economic advantages, as it drives the activity of more than 500 recycling companies, generating approximately 11 thousand jobs and annual revenue of 1.22 billion.

👙The elastic we use is not yet made from biodegradable material, but our supplier is already very strong with sustainability www.tekla.com.br. We hope to improve this too soon.

If you know of best practices, share them with us! We want our ecological footprints to be as small as possible! Let's go together in this? It just depends on us. We can do it;)
